Trip Itinerary
We visit on our office in Thamel or we can pick you up from your hotel. Then we take luxurious drive towards southeastern part of Kathmandu valley. We pass by Bhaktapur and Kavre district until we reach to Dolalgha, where our rafting ends tomorrow. After crossing bridge over Indrawati River, enter into Sindhupalchowk district. After crossing bridge, we continue driving along side of river until we reach to Confluence of Bhote Koshi and Tama Koshi nearby famous Balephi bazar. Leaving Bapheli behind we continue drive upstream, cross bridge again in Kadhichaur and finally we reach to Lamosangu. After reaching Lamosangu we will be welcomed by rafting crew and briefed about safety measures and major joys that we will enjoy tomorrow. Just below the Sun Koshi Hydropower station the tent camp will be set covering wider sand beach. Rafting master will make us well equipped and start paddling down in 5+ rapid for first two hours and 4+ rapid grades for last one hour. The upper part of river flows in extreme rapid speed and lower part runs smoothly. After three hours challenging rafting we drive back to camp. In evening we can play beach volleyball, soccer, and other sand games. In evening, we enjoy campfire, barbeque and dancing at camp. Overnight in Camp tent.
After breakfast, we start second day rafting from Lamosangu. Today also we navigate same route. In begging we start on class 5 rapid and then go through other 4, 3 and 2 grades rapids. In between we coast down through beautiful campsites, bountiful farming terraces with green vegetation, and colorful settlements on both edges of Bhote Koshi River. After crossing challenging confluence of Bhote Koshi and Tama Khosi we enter paddle down between dense forests until we reach to Sukute Beach, a famous campsite and holiday destination. Then we sail over gentle water in peaceful location until we reach to Dolalghat, the take out point, where we wrap up two days rafting. After having lunch in Dolalghat we take luxurious drive back to Kathmandu.
