Highlights
Balepahi River is narrow but rapids. The Balephi white water river is important for fishing and rafting too. The 17 km long tributaries of Bhote Koshi has special fishing destination for new and regular fishing adventurous in Nepal. The river starts from Langtang and other Himal from the Langtang region. Chanaute is the formal starting destination for rafting, but the fishing is possible in every points of river.
October to November and February-May are the major season for fishing and rafting. Moreover it is attractive after the summer. The local tiny village and typical resorts are the parts of attraction of Belaphi fishing. Balephi Gaun, and Jalbire, is the local village where you can get reflection of natural and cultural Nepal.
Balephi Fishing
The Balephi River is near from Kathmandu. You can meet the juncture of the river named Balephi which is 73 km far from Kathmandu. The public bus, private car, motorcycle and Maruti van are the accessible vehicles. One to two and half hours are the usual time to go there.
You can enjoy single day or multi-day fishing trip in Balephi River.
Trip Itinerary
In the morning we take the breakfast and move for fishing. Sometime our team will enjoy in fishing and rafting than go for lunch. We also offer the natural taste of fish cooked in fire. After some hours fishing we will back to Kathmandu.
At 7:00 am one of our staff come to your hotel for Pick up, then you will drive to Balephi River by private coach. After 2 to 3 hours driving you will reach in fishing starting point. After fews hour fishing guide will arrange you lunch and fishing continue, later you will take you to the resort for overnight, where you will have dinner and overnight.
